On Jun 25 when Gerry first realized something was wrong, he asked his friend Dr Richard Morawetz if he would do a home consultation. RB is a retired neurosurgeon who examined G and sent us directly to the hospital. After that day, Richard and his wife Mary Jean were with us every step of the journey right through G’s MAID on Aug 15. There is a debt of gratitude I hope I can one day repay.
